Auto Slalom is an organized timed grassroots motorsports event where drivers compete against the clock on a temporary course made up of pylons. Throughout the day drivers will get multiple runs to try and improve their time within their respected vehicle classes.
Typically Costing around $60-80 for an entire day of competition, Auto Slalom is the most cost effective way of entering in to competitive grassroots motorsports.
Auto Slalom focuses on driver skill and car control rather than outright speed. Courses are specially designed to keep speeds safe and competitors away from possible obstructions or dangers. Trained instructors and course marshals ensure strict safety rules are followed and adhered to.
One of the most important elements of Auto Slalom is the social community element. The events are extremely friendly to first timers and competitors are always willing to lend a hand whether its tips and tricks, mechanical advice or to just borrow some tape for your car number.
It may seem easy dodging cones in an empty parking lot, but we promise the competition is fierce and it's humbling when a 100HP Miata can beat a 300HP+ German sports car.
We strongly encourage you to come out and try and event for yourself. All you need is a Snell/ECE rated helmet and a road worthy vehicle.
