Come live the iconic line from Fast and Furious and line it up at the various drag strips across Southern Ontario. It's the perfect way to safely test your vehicles performance and acceleration and even challenge your friends.
Purpose built drag strips feature prepared surfaces, electronic timing, safety equipment, medical staff and safety barriers to keep drivers and spectators safe. It is a controlled and organized environment where all you have to concentrate on is the green light to go.
You can bring any mechanically worthy vehicle to the drag strip any week during the season for as low as $40. Everything from the normal family sedan to fully prepared race cars can "line it up".
Currently Toronto Motorsports Park is offering the only program (Drag Racing Experience) where you can learn the basics of drag racing in a provided vehicle.
This is your opportunity to get behind the wheel of high-powered Muscle Cars and experience the exhilarating thrill of drag racing, the world’s fastest form of motorsports. You will learn everything from safety and burnouts to staging and acceleration on this legendary dragstrip. Then you will have the chance to race side-by-side in a “pro-style elimination competition”.

Test and tune events are open to all vehicle makes and models including motorcycles. They typically run on Friday Evenings and Saturday/Sunday during the day. You simply show up, pay your fee, go through technical inspection and then queue for your turn to blast down the 1/4 mile strip. You will be given a time slip at the end of each of your run to show how your did. Typically test and tune does not feature "prepared" surfaces ie. glue being put down on the lanes prior and are just for testing/fun.
